Track Meet

Johnathan had one of the best days ever (his words). He took first in the 100 meter dash, the relay race with his classmates, and 3rd place in the 400 meter run. He was just behind his friend Peter again. In the afternoon he was able to attend the citizenship assembly. He had a blast with water balloons, splash balls, and getting water dumped on him while other kids were pouring cups of water in a water bottle. He held the water bottle on his head and others were to pour water in the water bottle. He just had fun getting drenched.

He also had his field trip to the Gene Autry Museum this week. He wants to go back and spend more time in the museum. He was interested in every display they had there.

Tomorrow he is off to Scout Camp. It is an all day camp. Last year they got to do archery. I am sure he is in for a lot of fun tomorrow. What a busy week.
