In loving memory of my parents!

I miss both my mom and dad. My dad passed away this year on March 14th from complications from diabetes kidneys, dialysis, etc. He broke his hip last October and has not done well since then. A bone infections set in and he was in the hospital since Valentine's Day. He is an example to me of charity and love. He faithfully took care of my mom with Multiple Sclerosis for more than forty years. He loved her and missed her horribly for the past two years. My parents were examples of long term suffering with out complaint and charity.

I love the picture I posted of my siblings around my dad's casket. We are laughing because Cari and I showed up to the funeral in the same dress (coincidental of course). My brother said we should line up in age order and I said that means Cari and I would be next to each other in the same dress. Cari then said we wore the same dress because of all the years in which mom dressed us alike. Now we think alike. Only a Cable can find humor on such a day.

By the way, it was my birthday on the day of his funeral. I am ok now I think but was in a really bad mood on my birthday about the whole birthday thing this year.
